BM Caterers, a leading UK contract catering company, was founded on the principles of partnership, passion for food, and respect for people. Under the leadership of Joint Managing Directors Angus Brydon and Antony Prentice, the company has maintained its strong culture and expanded its operations to nearly 100 locations, serving 40,000 customers daily. With a 98% client-retention rate and a consistent presence on the Best Companies list, BM places equal importance on sustainability, staff wellbeing, and delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

As part of its commitment to sustainability and enhancing the client and employee experience, BM Caterers sought a high-quality, environmentally responsible solution for corporate gifting, events, and employee engagement. The goal was to find a product that reflected their eco-conscious ethos, aligned with their premium brand image, and provided practical daily use for recipients.

BM found the ideal solution in Gojute’s GJ011 Large Juco Bag. Made from 75% jute and 25% cotton, with fine-lined jute fabric side panels and base, this bag features luxury padded cotton handles and a modern black finish. It combines functionality and style and is 40cm wide by 36cm high and 17cm deep. The GJ011 bag’s sustainable materials support BM’s environmental values, and its elegant design complements the company’s high standards and aesthetic.

Adopting Gojute’s juco bags has had a notable impact across BM’s operations. Used as onboarding gifts for new team members, giveaways at industry events, and client engagement tools, the bags reinforce BM’s dedication to thoughtful, lasting relationships. Their reusability reduces single use packaging waste, supporting the company’s wider sustainability objectives, including Planet Mark certification and Ecovadis Gold status. The bags also serve as a subtle yet effective marketing asset, extending BM’s brand presence wherever they are used.

The collaboration between BM Caterers and Gojute is a clear example of how values-driven procurement can support brand identity, strengthen relationships, and contribute to long-term sustainability goals. In BM’s hands, a simple product like a bag becomes a meaningful extension of their culture and commitment to doing business the right way.
