Lors de sa premi\u00e8re s\u00e9ance de chimioth\u00e9rapie, elle a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 quel point de nombreux patients ne se sentaient pas pr\u00e9par\u00e9s \u00e0 vivre une journ\u00e9e aussi difficile. Inspir\u00e9e par l&rsquo;id\u00e9e de rendre l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience un peu plus agr\u00e9able, elle a cr\u00e9\u00e9 l&rsquo;id\u00e9e des <strong>\u00ab\u00a0bo\u00eetes de bont\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, des<\/strong>colis de soins <strong>bien pens\u00e9s<\/strong>remplis d&rsquo;articles pratiques et r\u00e9confortants pour les personnes qui entament leur parcours contre le cancer.  <\/p>\n<p>En <strong>2014<\/strong>, ChemoHero est n\u00e9. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un petit don des \u00e9tudiants de Lisa au Petroc College, Lisa et son mari Rob ont emball\u00e9 les premi\u00e8res bo\u00eetes \u00e0 la main dans leur salon et les ont livr\u00e9es personnellement \u00e0 travers le North Devon. M\u00eame apr\u00e8s le retour de son cancer en 2015, Lisa a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper l&rsquo;organisation caritative tout en suivant elle-m\u00eame un traitement. En <strong>2016<\/strong>, ChemoHero est devenue une organisation caritative enregistr\u00e9e, soutenue par des b\u00e9n\u00e9voles, la communaut\u00e9 locale et des entreprises comme <strong>Boden Group<\/strong>, qui a fourni un espace pour le stockage et l&#8217;emballage.
