GoJute produce, manufacture and supply high quality jute, juco and cotton products worldwide, with sustainability and ethics at the core of our business
Company founder, Gary Warren, grew up in the beautiful coastal county of Cornwall, appreciating the impressive natural environment and its importance. Working with a friend in India, Gary soon set-up a factory and mill in Kolkata, where the company now employs over 350 people. GoJute works closely with local leaders in Kolkata to provide education and a good living wage, whilst also supporting jute farmers. The factory, where jute is processed to produce the natural fibre, is regularly inspected to ensure ethical trading and working practices. Highly trained stitchers and printers work in the facility to produce perfectly printed, durable bags, every time.
The world has changed a lot since 2006. With the #saynotoplastic campaign and plastic bag tax, sustainably produced bags are more in demand than ever. Today, GoJute continues to manufacture and supply high quality natural products that deliver fantastic results for businesses while protecting the environment.
