Julian Foye
This eye-catching jute bag, printed edge to edge, is a great example of what you can create with our overseas production service!
In the early years at Julian Foye , furniture arrived on the railway, packaged in straw and hessian, and was wheeled to the shop on a hand cart.
It is a very different business today but still a family firm. Mike Ellis, who built the business seen today, handed over the running of it to his daughters Annette and Julie.
They are backed by an enthusiastic, dedicated staff, many of whom have been with the firm for over 20 years. There are large furniture showrooms at Truro, St. Austell, Wadebridge and Hayle.
Jeanette from Julian Foye: “The bags were used as part of our sale preview weekend– we invite people we have on our data base (20,000+) to the preview and offer drinks, food and a gift (this summer it was the bags), the bags have gone to the Stithians show today (we invite people to enter our monthly draw – where we then get their permission to use their email to contact them in the future, they will then have the option of taking away a bag with them). The bags we have now on order with you will be distributed around our four shops and again anyone entering our monthly draw will be offered a bag, they will probably again feature as an optional gift at our winter sale preview weekend.”
