The competition took place at the beginning of the year, with every student submitting a design either depicting school colours, aspirational words and underwater themes, with strong messages showing real understanding of sustainability.

Headteacher, Miss Gambier said: “The students have gained a true understanding of the design and production process for the product and have thoroughly enjoyed the creative aspect. The competition has been an invaluable experience for all the pupils involved, and we have been so proud of their approach and understanding of wider issues such as the environment”.

The designs were finalised, printed and produced last month, and every student and staff member at Penrice were given a sample of the finished product.
